Winter break travel survey
by Izze Kaukonen
Winter break and the holidays are very exciting for many people; thoughts of family reunions and good food might pop into one's head upon mention of these couple of weeks. However, due to COVID-19, get-togethers with family and friends are very difficult due to the virus and are not allowed in some places. The spread of COVID-19 over winter break was of great concern, and a substantial amount of people took extra precautions against the virus during this time. Newscasters and public officials were urging people to stay home and limit exposure to those who might have COVID. All of this (well-deserved) concern raised the question: how exactly did people spend their winter break during this unprecedented time?
A survey was created and posted on social media and was completely anonymous. Questions in the survey were in regards to where people went during winter break, what kind of people they were around, as well as some COVID-19 related questions.
I’d like to thank everyone who took this survey, your input has been super helpful!
